Legacy Nursing has it all. We have advanced physical therapy programs and a complete gym to exercise in. The facilities are modern and constantly updated, and the grounds are wide so that our family can roam and explore as far as they might like to. We offer dental assistance and all kinds of entertainment, and we’re on call 24/7 to make sure you or your loved ones are comfortable and safe.
More than that, the facility is convenient to the beautiful town of Plaquemine where you’ll find a fabulous collection of historic homes along the Mississippi River, the lavish Cathedral and nearby is the elegant and very large park on the waterfront. Plaquemine is best known for ‘sweet sugar cane’ and is surrounded by golden fields. It offers many entertainment possibilities, including movie theatres, a play troupe, festivals year-round, and special city celebrations of the major holidays.

Keira has dedicated over two decades to the healthcare industry, bringing extensive experience and passion to her work. For the past 16 years, she has worked in long-term care as a Director of Social Services, Regional Director of Marketing, and licensed nursing facility administrator in Louisiana. Keira's commitment is to provide exceptional care and positively impact the lives of residents.
While balancing a demanding career with a vibrant family life, Keira is a devoted parent to three children, two of whom are twins. She is an avid sports enthusiast in her leisure time, particularly enjoying volleyball. Keira also has a passion for traveling and is always eager to explore new places and cultures.
